Filtering in a Time Well View

You can filter the data in a Time Well View by date. Date filtering allows you to view the data for a specific date and time period.

You specify the filtering on the Filtering form which you can open by clicking the Filtering   button in the toolbar for the Time Well View.

When defining a date of interest either a start date or end date will need to be specified.

If the filter is set with a start date but without a specific end date, all data is displayed from the specific start date until the end of the log.

If the filter is set with a specific end date but without a certain start date, all data is displayed from the beginning of the log until the specified end date.

In case the end date is set on a date before the start date, the filter will turn the dates around to fit the time line.

When multiple logs are displayed, they all begin with their respective start dates and are not aligned to depth as in the Well View.

The Filtering button in the toolbar indicates whether or not you are applying a filter:

Filter is not set
